Kashmir movement at crucial stage, nearer to resolution: Prof Bhat
Jammu Kashmir Muslim Conference Chairman, Prof Abdul Gani Bhat on Wednesday while addressing a workers meet in Sanoora Kalipora area of North Kashmir said that Kashmir’s must reap the benefits as the movement is at crucial stage and nearer to resolution.
Prof Bhat has said: “The movement for which we have rendered uncounted sacrifices since decades is at crucial stage. India, Pakistan, China and America have become parties of this dispute because of their own interests. So keeping their interests especially the economic one they are heading towards its resolution so we must stand up claim the ownership and demand the resolution according to our own aspirations.” Bhat added it was imperative for nuclear powers like India, Pakistan, China and America to resolve the Kashmir dispute for ensuring economic prosperity.
He said that Muslim Conference wants to aware the common Kashmiri who laid down their lives for its peaceful resolution must stand up and reap the benefit of this opportunity. He said if Kashmiris at this stage failed our ‘movement’ will get lost in darkness of the history.
Bhat said that nation must claim the authority and make it clear before the parties of the conflict that the any resolution will be acceptable to us which will according the aspirations and wishes of common Kashmiris who have scarified the near and dear ones.
Welcoming the ongoing talks between India and Pakistan on trade and other issues, Bhat said both the countries can’t achieve anything from the talks as the core issue between the countries which causes confrontation among them is Kashmir issue and without its any resolutions they can’t achieve peace and prosperity. He said that both the countries must prioritize Kashmir in ongoing talks and resolve it amicably.
